Resident of Santa Clara since 1960
Manuel, 83, born in New Bedford, MA to Manuel Lima and Mary Almeida passed away Thursday at his home. Manuel was a US Army Korean War Veteran. He re¬tired from Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space Co. in Sunnyvale. He was the beloved husband of the late Dolores Lima and preceded in death by his son Bruce W. Lima. He was dear brother of Dorothy Pereira of Fairhaven, MA and Margaret Tucciarone of West Palm Beach, Florida; brother-in-law of the late Elena and Joe Ponte of Acushnet, MA, Gloria Adao of Roseville, CA, Cecilia Sykes and Carmen Alfonse both of New Bedford, MA; and the late Anita and Bob Rodrigues of Reno, Nevada; loving uncle of many neph¬ews and nieces and many great-nephews and nieces. Visitation Thurs., Dec. 19th from 6 to 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N Winchester Blvd. Funeral Mass Fri., Dec. 20th at 1pm at St. Justin Parish, 2655 Homestead Rd. Interment to follow in Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial con¬tributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., 111 W St. John St., San Jose, CA 95113 and/or the National Kidney Fnd., 131 Steuart St., Ste. 425, San Francisco, CA 94105.

So long Manny. I'll miss our late night talks but you will be with your family now like you wanted. Our conversations always ended with "I love you". I'll always remember that.

Uncle Manny, I grew up with an extended family as if it was one. You were an Uncle, but also like a second father. I will always have found memories of the laughs sitting around the living rooms with your fast wit and great sense of humor. Life is too short for regrets. You are now with your two loves, Rest in Peace!
