I am so sad to read of Marie's passing. We were best friends in high school and graduated together. When my children were born, she was like a special aunt to them. We lost touch over the years and I always regretted that. Joe, if you read this, it's been many years since I saw you and your lovely wife in Tracy. Your mother let my husband and me pick apricots and we filled buckets. If you could email me at [email protected] I would be forever grateful. I am truly sorry and even though Marie and I lost contact, I never forgot her. Sincerely, Lorraine (Fichera) Rouse

I was lucky enough to have her as my 1st grade teacher at Montague in 1976-77 She was, simply put, the best! Kind and patient, always smiling. I only had a couple of teachers over the years that really made an impact and have never been forgotten. Ms. Falcone is at the top of that list ~
My condolences to her family.
Rest in Peace Ms. Falcone

She leaves such an ever lasting legacy. What a beautiful, kind hearted soul she had. She was my teacher in the early 70's and I always smile when I think of her. She's left such a positive impact on those lucky enough to have known her. Rest in peace and love Ms. Falcone.

Marie and my Mom "Ms Hudnut" were best friend, and both worked at Montague, some of my first concerts were with the two, John Denver if I recall...
RIP Marie, your memory lives on in all of us...

My first grade teacher at Montague! What a lovely person. I will never forget Miss. Falcone, she was such an inspiration. She always cared for her students and went the extra mile. I will never forget the naps with the John Denver music in the background. Her field trips to her home for burgers. I think of her often and remember her lipstick. My condolences to her friends and family for their loss.

Ms. Falcone was my first grade teacher at Montague Elementary in Santa Clara. She was definitely my favorite teacher. One of the fondest memories I have of her, is when she would take about 4 students at a time throughout the school year to her home. When it was finally our group time, we were so ecstatic! She cooked us hamburgers, we played at Happy Hollow Park, and she shared her loved of music especially her favorite John Denver. She will forever be missed! Thank you for being such a kind teacher to many students at Montague, Ms. Falcone! Rest easy...

Ms. Falcone was my first grade teacher back in 1980! She definitely made an everlasting impression on me! SHE is the reason I grew up and became a teacher myself! Her passion and love for teaching and her students was always obvious! I know she touched many many lives! May she RIP and know the impact she made on so many of us!
