Resident of Los Gatos
Nicole passed away unexpectedly on Friday. She touched numerous lives with her gentle loving spirit.
Nicole is survived by her loving husband Ted, and precious son Trevor. Adoring family, Parents Susan and Bill Scott, Brother Spencer and Abby Scott, Aunt Kathy, Uncle Herman, John, Frank, and Daisy Aguayo, Aunt Barbara, Uncle Don, Amanda, and Marissa, Uncle Tom Scott, Tim, and Lindsey, Jill, Ken, and Lorraine Rauchle and family.
A funeral mass will be held at Holy Spirit Church, 1200 Redmond Ave., San Jose, CA on Fri. Oct. 14, 2016 at 1 pm with a viewing at 12 pm.

Was stunned to hear the news- everyday is truly a gift & that reality is magnified once one has a child- Trevor your mother lives on in many memories- she was unique, classy, funny smart, & the last person most of us would ever had thought - would be become an accomplished commercial airline pilot- what an achievement! I knew Nicole for 34 plus years meeting her at John Steinbeck middle school then attending Gunderson high together- I doubt I would have graduated were it not for her help- I will always always carry a piece of her memory with me every time I fly- Ted all I can say is I am here & will continue to be here for you & Trevor as time marches on- To Nicole's parents- I am speechless- I am a parent & it changes one's perspective on everything- all of you are in my prayers...

Wishing lots of love to Nickie's family. I am so sad to hear that she has passed away. We met at Gunderson in 10th grade. She was such a smart, stylish, warm and friendly person. I remember how much she loved driving her cute MG. We studied for our history class together, she taught me some great study strategies that helped me so much in college. We were on the swim team together and shared a swim lane during practice.
I bumped into her at Target about 10 years ago and she told me all about her adventures since high school. It was lovely to see her after so many years.
I remember how close she was with her loving mom, and how much she adored her younger brother, Spencer.
Her sweet memory will love on in my heart always!

I have been so very sad to hear of Nicki's sudden death.
I knew Nicki when she and my brother Mark were together in their college years.
I was already out of the house when she and Mark dated so didn't see her often, however, when our paths crossed, I remember she was always so beautiful and smiling and polite and kind to my parents and family.
(She was always exceptionally nice to my own son who was a little boy at the time and he had a bit of a crush on Nicki ! )
I know how passionate she was about flying and I was so thrilled when she was able to realize her dream to fly commercial jets.
The last couple of years I was fortunate to bump into her occasionally at the Safeway on Union Ave and hear about her new love and passion in life, her own darling young son.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all who loved and cared for her.

I met Nicole at Mission Oaks Hospital in April. She was such a lovely, lovely person and so accomplished. She spoke often of her husband Ted and son Trevor, her love of flying, cooking and gardening. The world is a bleaker place with her passing.
