He was my only sibling, a loving brother six years my senior and a fantastic father to me in times of need.

Allen, so sorry for your loss. My dad was born only 2 months earlier. His generation seems to have been very hard working but humble. It's coming up on 8 years since we lost my dad. We will be praying for you and your family.

What an amazing man. Thank you for this beautiful account of his life. I love ❤ that he positioned his desk in the middle of all the action. That speaks mountains. I will always remember him as a loving and welcoming soul. I always felt welcomed in your warm home Allen. I pray for strength and peace at this time and always for your whole family. Love, Amy Vogt Boushey

One of our favorite Bible verses, here paraphrased, in the words of Job: I know that my Redeemer lives and that He will stand at the last day upon the earth; and even though worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God, Whom I shall see for myself and my eyes behold, and not another. How my heart yearns.
It is our fervent prayer that we, as a personal family, as well as the Holy Christian Church, the Communion of Saints, will all be there at that last day to forever stand with our holy, Triune God. How our hearts yearn to again be with those who have gone before us where we will worship our Lord together with one voice and one faith.
Our love to each of you and prayers for comfort in this time of sorrow and joy. We are certain that our brother-in-law, Rufus, knew his Redeemer and is now with Him for eternity.
With love from Dennis and Martha

Thank you for sharing his life. His service to others is impressive. I enjoyed seeing him doing his tinkering in his open garage while driving by on many occasions. So sorry for your loss.
