Oct. 22nd 1942-July 11th 2016
Resident of San Jose
Sandie passed away quietly with her family by her side on Tuesday, July 11th.
Sandie was born in Merced, CA. She was in the first graduating class of Del Mar High School. Sandie earned an AA degree from San Jose City College in Office Operations. Sandie retired from the Campbell School District after 25 years.
Sandie is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Charles; devoted children Joseph Liebert, Carrie Newton of San Jose, and David Liebert of Auburn, and grandchildren, Robert Hull, Jay Liebert, Mitchell and Grace Newton of San Jose and Hannah Liebert of Auburn.
Sandie spent many years volunteering her time to her children's sports. She was Treasurer and Lead Score keeper at Quito Little League for years. Sandie coached and managed multiple soccer teams, and served as team mom to many baseball teams.
Sandie was involved in the local California School Employees Association Union as Chapter Secretary for CSEA Campbell Chapter 768 for many years.
Sandie's life will be celebrated in a private memorial.
