Valerie Jo Apt Steele

STEELE, Valerie Jo Apt -- Of Campbell, CA formerly of Malden, MA, died suddenly on July 8th. Valerie grew up in Bangor/Eastport, Maine. She leaves her husband, Jeffrey Russell and two loving daughters, Niki and Laura Fay, her mother, Lorraine Avery, brothers Michael, Martin, George, Mark, and only sister, Victoria. Valerie leaves many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by many dear friends and family, and her 'Boe-Boe'. She loved gardening, cooking, and collecting antiques. Valerie always put others before herself, and never questioned helping a friend in need. 'Mom - your spirit lives on through us and we will miss you always. You were truly a wonderful woman.' The family will have a memorial service on Sunday, July 13, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. at DARLING-FISCHER CAMPBELL MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 231 E. Campbell Avenue, Campbell, California. Another service will be held in the near future in the Bangor, Maine area
