Whitney Webb Obituary

Whitney Anne Webb

Santa Clara

Whitney Anne Webb, 15, passed away October 20, 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah due to an accident in Snow Canyon State Park. She was born February 20, 1997 in Provo, Utah to Adam and Karin Webb.

Whitney radiated life and love her entire life. As the oldest child, she was the perfect example to her four younger siblings and to her parents. She excelled in school and loved to learn. She could always be found reading a new book, or the same book for the 10th time. She was a straight A student at Snow Canyon High School and a proud member of the National Honor Society. She enjoyed trying a variety of sports in her childhood but found her true passion in singing in the Madrigal choir and performing in high school plays. She was looking forward to performing in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at SCHS this week. "There's one more angel in heaven, one more star in the sky..."

Whitney had so many friends who loved her, many of those being her own cousins and siblings. She was a strong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was serving faithfully as the Mia Maid class president. Her testimony of the gospel was an inspiration to us all and we know she was taken to do a greater work on the other side. She will always be loved and missed, but we look forward to the joyous day when we will be reunited with her again. We love you Whitney!

She is survived her parents, Adam and Karin Webb; brothers: Justin, Troy and Dallin; sister, Audrey; and grandparents: Gene and Tricia Webb of Washington, Utah and David and Caroline Blunck of Santa Clara, Utah, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Dear Webb Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of the death of Whitney. I just returned from a vacation and heard the devasting news. I want to tell you how impressed I was with her when she was in my fifth grade class. She had such a great understanding of the world and the people in it. She will forever hold a special place in my heart. I feel strongly that she was needed to help The Lord on the other side. My heart is filled with gratitude for being able to know her and your family. May god bless you in this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Joan Sandberg
