James DeSpiegelaere Obituary

James " Jim" A. DeSpiegelaere Sr., 71, of Keewatin, Minn., passed away in his home on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022.

Jim was born May 24, 1951, in Duluth, Minn., and grew up in Rush City, Minn. Jim had a love for anything outdoors, inventing new things, and the love for his family. When Jim wasn't working you would find him either with his family and friends outdoors, or coming up with the next best invention. Jim was a family man and a man of God.

Jim is survived by his wife, Gloria; three children, James Jr. (Sheryl) of Plain City, Utah, John (Crystal) of Norfolk, Va., and David (Kari) of Devils Lake, N.D.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob and Carl; sisters, Cecilia, Esther, and Mary; and many nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Camiel and Agnus; sisters: Dorothy, Nancy, Caroline, Rose; and brothers: David, John, Richard, Roger.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; as it was very dear to his heart. (www.stjude.)

A memorial service will take place at a later time.
