John Michael Lenci

John Michael Lenci, 85, of Virginia, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025. He was born on July 17, 1940, in Virginia, MN, to John D. and Violet Lenci.

John was a successful businessman having worked diligently with his family construction company Lenci Enterprises, Inc. He was proud to have served in the Air National Guard.

John was a motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed most anything with an engine – especially in aviation - and relished trips to the Oshkosh Air Show. He was an avid reader, valued learning, and was a life-long student of history. He was artistic and skilled at building anything. He enjoyed boating on Lake Vermillion with his family (safely navigating the lake while his wife and mother-in-law fished). He travelled across the country in his RV – particularly enjoying time in Arizona and Florida – where he delighted others when he'd play the keyboard.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Jane (Mihevc) Lenci; his daughter, Jane Elizabeth Lenci-Higgens and her husband Larry Higgens; his son, John Christopher Lenci and his wife Mary Catherine Raukar Lenci; granddaughter, Lily Anna Lenci; sister, Elizabeth Lenci Downs; sister-in-law, Gloria Elizabeth Mihevc; and other cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Honoring John's preference, no funeral service will be held.
