Linn Smith Obituary
Linn Smith, 90, of Brookport, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2025, at Baptist Health Paducah.
Linn was a retired schoolteacher and coach. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ.
Surviving are his four children, Martie Lea Smith Stewart of Brookport, Kenton Linn (Jennifer) Smith of Tiline, Kentucky, Margo Lane (Rick) Wiggs of Paducah and Kemble Linn (Lisa) Smith of Brookport; eight grandchildren, Marlena Stewart Russell, Grant Smith, Whitney Smith-Taylor, Chase Wiggs, Cydney Wiggs, Kaitlinn Smith-Fort, Karsen (Brad) Bosecker, and Konner Smith; and 13 great-grandchildren, Lakota Wiggs, Gracie Wiggs, Caden Wiggs Preston Smith, Weslee Taylor, Georgia Taylor, Kale Russell, Oliver Fort, Owen Fort, Emmett Fort, Noah Bosecker, Lily Bosecker, and Sawyer Bosecker.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Reynolds Smith; his parents, John and Inez Smith; and one sister, Ina Lee Mabry.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025, at the Harry Statham Gymnasium in Brookport with Charles Kilpatrick officiating. Burial will follow in Pell Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Harry Statham Gymnasium.
