Michael ONeil

Michael Patrick ONeil of Millis, died unexpectedly Saturday October 17, 2015 in Brownfield Maine at the age of 67. He was the beloved husband of Judith F. (Muise) ONeil of Millis, the loving son of Doris (Mailloux) ONeil and the late Patrick ONeil of Holliston, the dear father of Timothy P. ONeil and his wife Sandra (George) of Holliston and Todd M. ONeil of Millis, the cherished brother of Dennis ONeil, Maureen Peterson and her husband Jimmy, Kathy Wilson and her husband Brian, Donna Grossman and her husband Dale all of Holliston, and the devoted and loving grandfather to Topher, Jaselin and Elle. A resident of Millis for the past 37 years, Michael was born in Manchester NH and raised in Holliston. A 1966 graduate of Holliston High School, he later attended Bentley College, graduating from Dean Jr. College in Franklin. Prior to his retirement, Michael worked in the technology industry, putting his experience in the Navy to use for companies such as Honeywell, Prime, and Stratus computer. A New England sports fan, he delighted in the time spent outdoors, playing golf, fishing and motorcycle trials. A veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, he served with the US Navy from 1968 until his honorable discharge in 1972. Michael was a loving and caring husband, son, father, brother and grandfather to his family and relished all the time he spent with them. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 82 Exchange St., Millis on Saturday Oct. 24, 2015 at 10AM. Burial with military honors will follow at St. Marys Cemetery in Holliston. Visiting hours in the Roberts-Mitchell Funeral Home, 90 Curve St., Millis will be Friday Oct. 23, 2015 from 5 to 8PM.
