CASSTOWN - Fonda Carol Sotzing, age 76, of Casstown, Ohio, died Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Upper Valley Medical Center.
Fonda was born on July 17, 1948, in Piqua, Ohio to the late Allen J. Morgan and Margaret E. (Willmeth) Morgan. Fonda married her Miami East High School sweetheart, Dale Sotzing, on August 21, 1965, and they were married for 59 years until his passing last year.
Fonda is survived by her children, Michael (Jill) Sotzing, of Casstown, OH; Kimberly (Scott) Donaldson, of Fletcher, OH; Misha Girard and Jonathan Hipsher, of Centerville; Erika Vogel and fiancé Michael Lang, of Casstown, OH; her 11 grandchildren: Tiffany (Brandon) Hasty; Chelsea (Tim McVety); Kayla Gingrey; Roderick Sotzing; Derek Noe (Diamond McNiel); Kyle Noe; Braxton (Alayna) Donaldson; Griffin Girard; Jesse Girard; Colton Vogel; Calvin Vogel; 13 great-grandchildren; loving nephews and nieces; and many dear cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Sotzing; her daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Christopher Gingrey; her parents, Allen and Margaret Morgan; brother, Allen "Jake" Morgan Jr.; and sister, Shelley (Morgan) Lewis.
Join the family to honor Fonda Sotzing at a funeral service on February 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH, with Pastor Dale Adkins officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, St. Paris, OH. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, prior to the service.
