FLETCHER — Pamela D. Wackler, 63, of Fletcher, passed away 12:26 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.
She was born in Cincinnati on December 15, 1951 to the late Russell Kenneth and Daisy (Martin) Tackett.
She was married to Gary Lee Wackler, Sr., and he preceded her in death on August 25, 2013.
Pamela is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Chancey and Chad Springer of Xenia; four sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Karen Wackler, Jr. of Fletcher, Travis and Cristal Wackler of Fletcher, Owen and Angela Wackler of Salisbury, NC, Rusty and Kellie Wackler of Easley, SC; ten grandchildren, Alexander Springer, Lilli Wackler, Morgan Springer, Layla Wackler, Jakeb Wackler, Julian Wackler, Scott Preston Wackler, Dustin Patty, Kelly (Carrie) Berbeck, and Latasha Patty; five great-grandchildren; Bianca Patty, Allea Patty, Delilah Hoskins, Caleb Berbeck, and Brennon Berbeck; one sister, Wanda Starner of Troy; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Jeanett Tackett of Buffalo, NY, Ronald Tackett of West Milton, Dale and Jodi Tackett of Tipp City; and her dog, Harry which she dearly loved.
Pamela was a member of First Baptist Church, Miamisburg.
She was a 1959 graduate of West Milton High School. She was retired from Troy City Schools as a bus driver.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. Friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will be in Dayton National Cemetery with her husband, Gary, at a later date. She was a successful donor to the eye bank.

So sorry to read about Pam. She was a great person to work with. I was wanting to stop in to see her but didn't have a chance. I am glad I did get to talk to her at Jumpy's. May God be with you all.
