Anthony Negralle Obituary
Anthony (Tony) Negralle, 86, of Higganum, CT and Naples, FL, beloved husband of Donna Behm Negralle, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. Tony was born on September 17, 1938, in Middletown, CT to the late Albert and Barbara (Chaffee) Negralle. He grew up and spent most of his life in Higganum. After retirement, he wintered in Naples, FL where he made many cherished friendships in the Bay Forest community.
Tony was a graduate of Vinal Technical High School. He retired from Connecticut Light and Power as the Yard Supervisor for the Middletown, CT power plant after more than 35 years of dedicated service. Tony proudly served in the Army National Guard. He was a volunteer firefighter for both the Haddam and Chester volunteer fire departments. Tony was a member of the Middletown Elks Lodge and the Rev Masters Auto Club.
Tony lived by the values of hard work and integrity. He gave selflessly to others and was always quick to offer help. Most of all, Tony was happiest spending time with his family including many weekends at horse shows and motorcross races in the earlier years. He will be deeply missed.
Tony is survived by his wife Donna, daughter Elise Hayes (David), sons Mark (Carmen), Richard (Tammy) and Jeffrey. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Tony leaves behind his beloved dog Miley. He was predeceased by his brother Peter Negralle.
Private burial will be held at Higganum-Burr Cemetery with a Celebration of Life to be held at a future date.

I worked with tony for many years at CL&P Middletown Generation. Tony was a very hard worker and respected Supervisor. He taught me so much and I was not in his department, but our jobs overlapped. A very kind person that will never be forgotten. He was one of the most valuable person that made our company successful. I am so sorry for your loss. Rest in peace Tony !

My condolences to the Negralle family. I worked at CL&P with Tony many years ago. He was the gold standard of what a supervisor should be. Tony was a fair, direct and compassionate to those who worked for him and always got the job done. Tony's crew would go to the end of the earth for him because he had their back. Godspeed Tony. They aren't made like you anymore.

Tony was a man of so many talents, not the least of which was making enduring friends. We have known and loved Donna and Tony for more than 25 years. We loved Buddy and we still love Miley. Their 'puppers' were/are our condo mascots. We celebrated our Anniversaries together - 35 thru almost their 60th. Tony is and will continue to be missed by Bay Forest and Naples Walk 2 in particular.
