Lashonda Moore Obituary
Lashonda was born on December 17, 1977, in Bertie County, North Carolina. She graduated from vinal technical high school in 1996 She was a devoted caregiver for 23 years with Athena Healthcare selflessly serving others with compassion and love. Above all, Lashonda was a proud and loving mother to her 8-year-old child, a devoted daughter, a cherished sister, and a loyal best friend.
Grounded in her strong faith in the Lord, Lashonda lived a life centered on family and togetherness. She deeply enjoyed family dinners, family vacations, and family game nights creating memories filled with laughter, warmth, and love that will be treasured forever.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Donnell Lorenzo Moore, her grandparents Josh and Jaunita Moore, Gladys Nixon, her aunt Shirley Mathiasen, her uncle Roy Moore and her cousins Eric Moore and Daquan Moore.
She leaves to cherish her son Keyon Belfrey Jr, (CT), her loving parents Paul and Brenda Pierce of (CT) her sisters Qualisha Moore, Temeka Lawrence, and Quateria Smith of (CT) her brothers Kevin Leary of (NC) Shanta and Marcus Perry, Jahema Turner of (CT) Nieces Nakazja Holley, Janavea and Jyquay Moore, Travyonna, Taliah, Taverus Jefferson, Aniya and Ayanna Perry and a host of extended family and friends.
Lashonda will always be remembered for her loving heart, unwavering faith, and dedication to her family

My Condolences to the family...I first met Lashonda in 2002 @ MHCC we both started working together we automatically became friends she was a loving and caring person who had this infectious smile and laugh she loved taking care of people. We use to catch the train to Harlem get our hair braided for years and she taught me how to drive 5 speed on our lunch break lol she was always there my 50th bday my wedding she came and celebrated with me. Even tho we haven´t seen each other in awhile we still remained good friends. I will truly miss you sleep in peace my sista Lord please continue to watch over KJ and her family

My condolences and prayers are with the family. LaShonda was a beautiful person. I worked with her at Middlesex Healthcare Center for a few years and she took care of my mom at Middlesex the last days of her life and she was an excellent caregiver. Every time I came to work my mom`s hair was done she was dressed so pretty LaShonda took the best care of her, and I will always love her and respect her for that she will be deeply missed by everyone.
