Dear Rumberger Family - I have such fond memories of your Dad, not only as my Mom's awesome boss, but as a true family man - full of love and pride for his wife and sons. Knowing him made our lives richer and the world more gentle and loving. My condolences to you all. Celia Peacock (Kleczkowski).

I was employed by Wesleyan University. The first person I met with was Joe Rumberger, one of the most gracious people I would ever have the pleasure of interfacing with. Joe was soft spoken, kind, gracious, respectful and comforting to a very nervous candidate. Joe had the ability to put anyone at ease. He left quite an impression on me. When my husband died, I received the most beautiful note from Trudy and Joe. I have not and will not ever forget the impression he made on me....and all he came in contact with. My heart and prayers go out to Trudy. Thank you both for being such caring persons.
