Doug will always be in my heart - when my mohter was sick before she passed, he was right there with us, bringing inspirational books and just being there for her and Dad as a good friend. He was fun to be with but when the times were tough, he was right there with us. Hope he's up there chatting with Mum right now!

My husband and I ate breakfast at Newport Creamery in Seekonk, where Doug was always sitting in the same chair every day. My husband and he would have many conversations about football and golf. Doug was a pleasure to be around, telling stories about his grandchildren, whom he was very proud of. We will miss his smile and friedship. We wish the family our sincere condolences, and know he will missed.
