Shawn Dunne Obituary

Shawn Marie (Prier) Dunne, 65, formerly of Burlington went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 4:30 a.m. in Orange Park, Florida.

Shawn was lovingly welcomed by her parents, Ray J. and Grace Eileen (Beckman) Prier on Oct. 2, 1959. On Nov. 7, 1992, Shawn married the love of her life, Mike Dunne. They had 9 1/2 years together before Mike went home to be with Lord on July 4, 2002.

Shawn is survived by her brothers, Michael Prier of Burlington, Douglas Prier of Milwaukie, Oregon, and Bruce Prier of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and her sister, Connie Barngrover of Keystone Heights, Florida, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Shawn was proceeded in death by her husband, Mike, her parents and 2 nieces.

She will be laid to rest in Aspen Grove Cemetary at a later date.
