Benjamin Kohler Obituary

Passed away on July 25, 2017, at the age of 48. Ben was born on July 2, 1969, in Modesto, California to Paul and Peggy Kohler. Ben attended school in Empire Schools and obtained his G.E.D. He enjoyed working as a mechanic and worked several jobs including Black Diamond. Ben obtained his Class A license through Western Pacific Truck School and began driving for Northern Refrigerated Transportation. After a short period he left there and worked for various trucking companies in the AG industry. Ben was predeceased by his father Paul E. Kohler Sr. and is survived by his mother Peggy L. Kohler, brothers Ed and Tilghman Kohler, and sister Marie Smith (Jeff Smith). Eaton Funeral Home is in charge and there will be no services.

I knew Ben since he was a little kid. We always called him Benji when he was little. We had a lot of good times together. He liked to cruise around in my car, go to the lake, and listen to music. We used to go up to the hills and shoot our guns. I hadn't seen him much lately but would run into him at Cost Less every once in a great while. He would always say Hi when I seen him. He always used to come to my house a lot and visit years ago. I'm also sorry for his loss and wished I could have seen him once more. Take care Ben. I know you're in a better place now.
