Dee Powers Asbill

DEE POWERS ASBILL Our beloved Sister, Aunt, and Grammy passed away quietly September 23, 2009 surrounded by her family. She was born in Modesto, CA to Earl and Tillah Powers. She worked many years at Asbill's Time Loan and later became a manicurist owning her own shop Looks Etc. Most recent years she has been a manicurist at Salon 2717. Dee is preceded in death by her parents and her husband R.B. Asbill. She is survived by sister Phyllis Handley and brother-in-law James Handley and sister Karen Skelly. Dee is also survived by three generations of nieces and nephews whom she adored. Jennifer and Steve Donnelly, Todd and Kay Cummins, Stephanie and Mark Van Wye, niece/adopted daughter Michele Skelly and grandson Kyler Farquar. Granddaughter Natalia Asbill and her son Lance Head. Roxanne and John Baily, Lori and Steve Billman, Jim and Lora Handley, Timi and Tom Bergen. Great nieces and nephews Dylan, Kody, and Karson Donnelly, Lindsay and Jamie Cummins, Tyson Reed, Phylisha and Cameron Van Wye, Andrew and Megan Baily, Matt and Amber Godlasky, Zachary Bergen, Bryce Baker. Dee also leaves behind life long friends and countless clients and associates. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Memorial service to honor her will be held October 9, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Salas Brothers Chapel. Followed by a Celebration of her Life.
