Donna Jean Cheney, age 58 of Modesto, California went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 5, 2013
She was greeted in heaven by her Mother, Linda Cheney and her grandparents, Clifford and Betty Cheney.
Donna is survived by her father, Delbert Cheney, brother Richard Cheney (Becky - sister-in-law who was also her caregiver), sister Karen McCave (John), and brother Randy Cheney. She is also survived by five nephews and eight grandnieces/nephews.
Donna was born in Fresno and moved to Modesto in 1957. Donna graduated from Thomas Downey High in 1974. Some of Donna's most loved friends were her church families. Donna loved to play the piano and organ.
Donna will be sorely missed but we know that she is now out of pain and resting in the arms of our God.
Funeral services for Donna will be on Tuesday, November 12 at 11:00 AM at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 North Soderquist Rd., in Turlock, with interment in Turlock Memorial Park.

Our heartfelt prayers to Donna's family. I had Donna on my mind last week and now I know why, she was going to meet Jesus! We shared good times and God's blessings at Valley Christian Center for many years. Our family lives in Oklahoma now so we can't attend her services. Donna was such a precious person.
