Me and Eric grew up together, he was a step cousin I lived next door. Eric Taught me how to ride motorcycles. One day we decided to ride in a tunnel under what is now Modesto city Mall. We made it to the other side on the way back Eric dropped his motorcycle in front of me, he said his head was hurting so I rode him home. Found out a piece of wood went into his skull. His mother called medics to take him into the Dr's. Didn't see him for a few months. Than I moved away. About 10 to 13 years later I ran into him and he told me about his dream. It came true, God Bless you Eric, Sorry about everyone's loss, he was like a brother to me. His mother made the best cherry jam ever. My name is James Per Van Winkle, [email protected]. God bless Everyone!!! Sorry but I just found out today

I am very saddened to hear of Eric's death. Our condolences are pouring out to his wife and children.
Glena and Vicki, I was just going through an old photo album last week sharing stories with my son about my old friends. Needless to say, I thought about all of you quite a bit this past week. I share your grief. I remember when Eric came to your lives and your dad was so excited to get a son.
Love to you all,
Art Lund
