Gary grew up in Ceres, California and then Modesto, California where he attended elementary, junior high and high school. Gary started his great work ethics when he was 11 years old working for the Modesto Bee newspaper. He was a hard working boy, he even won a trip to Spain through the Modesto Bee, what an honor that was. Gary went on and graduated from Fred C. Beyer high school and soon owned his own demolition and pyrotechnics business. When he wasn't blowing up rock quarries he was putting on awesome firework shows. Gary loved putting on firework shows for all, that was his passion and the shows were absolutely amazing and breathtaking. Gary also enjoyed dirt bike riding when he was younger and playing baseball. He loved golfing, skiing, fishing and hunting.
Gary helped raise three of his own children and three step-children along with his wife Donna. He was a great dad, brother, uncle and grandpa. Gary always had a smile on his face and a laugh that is irreplaceable. He had a fun personality and everyone adored him.
Gary will be missed very much by all who knew him. We love you Gary.
