John Haskell Obituary

John Dexter Haskell, 71, of Farmington, CA peacefully passed away on November 12th. John was born to Wes and Catherine Haskell on June 17th, 1954. After attending Escalon High School, John went on to a career in the Northern California Laborers Union and a number of professional building companies. Most notably Acme Construction out of Modesto, where he served as a project manager and later facilities manager.

Those close to him will remember John as a loyal, devoted, and generous friend, family member, and father. He loved to laugh, had a passion for sports, and enjoyed hunting. He took pride in lettering in football, baseball and basketball while attending Escalon High School from 1968-1972. John valued hard work, honesty, and the value of a man's word.

Mr. Haskell is survived by his sisters Mary Ellen Azevedo (Randy), JoAnn Peterson, his sons and daughter and their families; Jeramy (Tiffany), Kristopher (Meghan), and Jeanne, and he has six grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held close to his birthday in June of 2026 (details to be determined). Friends and family will be notified and invited by John's family closer to time.
