Mike McBride, 34, of Denair died Tuesday June 2nd following a short illness. He is survived by his mother, Sheila McBride of Turlock, brother Jesse James Silva of Turlock, maternal grandfather Marshall Benjamin of Turlock, paternal grandparents Richard and Janice McBride of Denair, uncle Bruce McBride of Astoria, Oregon, and cousins Ami McBride of Denair and Patrick McBride of Spokane, Washington. He was preceded in death by his father, D. Mike McBride of Denair and Turlock.
Mike grew up in Turlock and attended Osborn elementary, Turlock Jr. High, Turlock High and Roselawn High schools in Turlock. He was a free spirit who loved animals, especially his 7 Chihuahuas.
A Visitation will be held at Allen Mortuary in Turlock on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mike's name to Wags and Whiskers Rescue, 1700 McHenry Ave, Ste 65B#155, Modesto, CA 95350, (209)613-0958,www.wawr.org. ; Wags and Whiskers Rescue is a no-kill animal shelter.
