Thank you for Bob Gallo for being so kind to me when I worked for your wife Marie in your home. You always had wonderful things to say about Marie and how talented she was musically.

you hold me by my right hand.
You guide me with your counsel,

To all members the Gallo’s Family members, especially Mr. Robert Gallo’s children: Julie, John, Thomas, Gina, Amy and Mary E.
In behalf of my community the Sisters of the Cross, I am writing to extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to all and each one of you during this incredibly difficult time. We are deeply saddened since we learn about the passing of Mr. Robert Gallo, and we want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Since our community of Sisters of the Cross were founded here in Modesto, Mr. Robert Gallo along with our dearest Marie Gallo, and of course our unforgettable Mr. & Mrs. Aileen Gallo, became part of our spiritual family. Throughout the years The Gallos Family have been a living and strong example of our Catholic faith, an awesome and united family. Mr. Robert Gallo was a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many. He will be remembered for his kindness, compassion and generosity, always searching for the good of others, as he did for us. Although his physical presence is no longer with us his spirit will forever remain in our hearts with much gratitude, always in our prayers.
Please accept our sincere condolences once again and may the cherished memories of Mr. Robert Gallo bring you peace and serenity in the days to come. God is Love and will reward all his generous heart forever.

I had the pleasure of working with many of the Gallo family members in security back in the early 80's. My first meeting of a senior Gallo was Bob, who I stopped and didn't allow entry into the winery until he showed ID. I was a bit embarrassed but Mr. Bob Gallo welcomed me to the organization and thanked me for being diligent. I later worked at his residence and found him to be very cordial. The Gallo family supported continuing education and I was able to be reimbursed for attaining my teaching credential, for which I'll always be grateful. Rest In Peace, Mr. Gallo, and thank you for the good you did for our community and beyond.
