Janice Marie Morrin Martin
Janice Marie Morrin Martin of the Erie clan and formerly of New Canaan, CT passed away peacefully on April 27, 2021. She was born on November 4, 1946, in Toledo, Ohio to the late Woodrow and Angela McCarty Morrin. She was one of six siblings: Joyce Wiseman (Tom), Annette Morrin (Chris), Kevin Morrin (Meg), and Susan Christy (Keven), and sister-in-law Carolyn Morrin. Janice graduated from St. Joseph grade school in Erie, MI, and graduated from St. Mary Academy, Monroe, MI. Janice graduated from Iona, college with a BS, Healthcare Management and an MS, Healthcare Management. With a highly diverse and talented career, she was a Corporate Risk, Privacy & Compliance Officer for a well-known healthcare company. She is survived by her son, Christopher, daughter-in-law, Catherine, granddaughter, Lily Martin of Kingston, MA, and was looking forward to her new grandson this July. Janice was preceded by her parents, Woodrow & Angela Morrin, Brother, Howard, and nephew Matthew LaPointe. Janice leaves behind many nieces, and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews to cherish her memory. A celebration of her life will be held at a future date. She was a devoted mother and grandmother (Mimi), co-worker, and friend, she will be truly missed.
