I want to extend my deepest sympathy
to Paul's wife and family. Paul was
my penpal for two years after he sent me a humorous e-mail in response to a posting I had made on AOL about Rush Limbaugh. I loved his sense of humor and his great devotion to this country as well as his wisdom and good advice on a variety of topics. I knew Paul was battling cancer, but he never complained and always seemed much more concerned about others than about himself. The very last time I
heard from Paul, he was asking me to pray for the people of New Orleans after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina; he was filled with concern about the people he knew when he lived there and worried because he had been unable to reach any of them. He was always proud of his wife and kids and of his Marine Corps service. I really miss hearing from him. He was a good man.
