There are so many wonderful memories to share.
Mercy, the time Kenny and myself were jumping off the dresser and Dad caught us, Lol
Mostly, Dad was a family gathering man. It was not an easy task getting busy schedules to match and travel the distances. but we did it. The wonderful food, love, support, laughter and song were worth it.
We will miss you as you take your place in the presence of the Lord with Mom, Kenny and other loved ones. Thank you for sharing the gift of music.
I remember one of the first LP's you shared was Earth, Wind, and Fire. They are still a top favorite.
We love you!!! Forever!!!!

There are so many wonderful memories to share. Most of all Dad was very much about having family gatherings. It was a huge task to gather everyone together with different schedules and distance to travel, but we did. The wonderful food, love, support, laughter and song. was well worth it. We will miss you dearly as you are in the presence of the Lord with Mom and loved ones. Thank you for sharing your love for music with us. Earth, Wind and Fire was one of the first LP's you shared. They are still special to me today. We love you!!!! Forever!!!!!!

Dear Preacher, as I always addressed you. We at ALCC will miss your smiling face, your pound cake, and your renditions of "You Know My Name", but feel so much comfort that you are now in that Heavenly place, and I know you are embracing your wife that you loved and always shared with us on every visit. Gives me peace to have a big Angel like you up there looking out for us!!! RIP my friend until we meet again.

Miss you Dad! Im going to miss those phone calls, scripture quotes and singing gospel before ending our phone calls. Nikki reflected back on how you called her as a child, Tee- Dot because she was so little. She also reflected on how you mailed her a German Chocolate Cake for her Birthday with no icing which is how we loved our cakes. We have all will and are missing you Dad. Tell Mom and the rest of the Family that we miss them also. Im glad I had an opportunity to speak with you the day you were called to your Heavenly Home. GOD whispered your name and you took his hand. Thank you for keeping the family gatherings going and making sure that everybody had what they needed. Thank you for making us all some Strong women. Most of All, Thank you for being YOU. Im going to surely miss not only you but the long messages you would leave on my voicemail as if I was on the other end of the phone. You would always end the message with a song and would also ask in the voicemail how everyone was doing and to be blessed and that you Loved Us. Thank you Dad did ALL that you did on this earth. Now Rejoice in your new home until we all meet again. We Love You Forever and Always, Debra, Kevin, Kevin Jr, Brandon, Nikki and our furry friend, Milo

Pops, you will truly be missed. Im going to miss those long phone conversations and hearing you sing for over 15 minutes before ending the call and saying, Keep you eyes on GOD. Youve earned your wings so go and take your crown. In addition to our phone calls, listening to your lengthy voicemails that you would leave as if I was physically on the phone . You always wanted to keep Mommas memories alive by having an annual celebration since her passing. You would bake your famous cakes and would light up like a light when family was around. Thank you for keeping us safe as children, and raising us to be Strong women. Thank you for most of all, being YOU. I miss you already. Rest now pops, until we meet again. . Tell Mom and the rest hello. Love Debra and Family
