JAMES WAINWRIGHT Obituary

JAMES PHILLIP PHIL WAINWRIGHTWainwright, Sr., James Phillip, 41, a resident of Prattville, AL., died unex-pectedly on early Saturday, Oc-tober 4, 2003, from injuries sus-tained in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 6, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. at East Memorial Baptist Church on Sheila Blvd., with Reve-rend Ronny Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Prattville Memorial Gardens with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Phil Wainwright was a successful business owner of Manicure Lawn Care Landscaping and Nursery. He is survived by his wife, Karen Smitherman Wainwright of Prattville, AL; one son, James (Jay) Phillip Wainwright, Jr., of Prat-tville, AL; one daughter, Lauren Shay Wainwright of Prattville, AL his mother, Erlene and Tom Head of Prattville, AL; his father, Mims Ho-ward and Faye Wainwright of Montgomery, AL; four sisters, Angie and Danny Webb of Prattville, AL; Tonia and Joey Alford of Prattville, AL; Michelle and David Locke of Prattville, AL; Stephanie and Wes Ta-tum of Montgomery, AL; two broth-ers, Tony Wainwright of Fort Walton, FL; Chris Engberg of Prattville, AL; in-laws, Bobby and Mary Smitherman of Prattville, AL; Robert and Michelle Smitherman of Huntsville, AL; a sis-ter-in-law, Carol and Bob DeBusk of Prattville, AL; grandmother, Ila Mae Johnson of Prattville, AL; and nu-merous nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Jeff Frais-er, Gary Ulrich, David Williams, Dale Moore, Bob Banks, Chris Quates, and Shane Castleberry. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Smitherman, Bob DeBusk, Joey Alford, David Locke, Danny Webb, Rick Kebbel, David Spencer, Danny Spencer, Jamey McGowin, and Buddy John-son.
