E.C. Keele

E.C. Keele, 81, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016 at Alexian Brothers Valley Residence in Chattanooga at the age of 81. Mr. Keele was born in Manchester to the late Elmer Clyde and Verna Meadows Keele. He served his country in the United States Army and went on to work as a machinist at ARO in Tullahoma. He thoroughly enjoyed fishing, and was an avid sports fan. He especially loved watching Atlanta Braves baseball and Lady Vols basketball. In addition to his parents, Mr. Keele was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Keele. He is survived by his wife, Janene Keele of Chattanooga; two daughters, Melanie Morris and her husband Craig of Chattanooga and Lea Ann Kobeck and her husband Mike of Chattanooga; one brother, Mickey Keele and his wife Diane of Manchester; four grandchildren, Katie Shirley and her husband Asa, Ronald Keele Jr., Tiffanie Kobeck, and Corey Keele; and two great-grandchildren, Raiden and Ace. Funeral services were held on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 1 p.m. in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Lynchburg Cemetery. Kilgore Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
