Racing was one of Doug's greatest passions. Other hobbies included working on other racecars on the side, drag racing where he owned funny and super comp cars, dirt racing and boating. Survivors include his wife, Cammie Rogers Dragoo of Sherrills Ford; parents, Paul H. and Rose Lee Kincaid Dragoo; children, Megan Mull of Denver and Mitch Mull of Asheville; two sisters, Judy Bishop and husband, Merlin, of Rudd, Iowa, and Deva Moore and husband, Craig, of Auburn, Wash.; nephews and nieces, Justin, Jeffery and Katie Bishop, and Ian and Tiffany Moore; and his special companion, "Tripp" his dog.
