February 21, 1941 - December 14, 2023
Joseph "Conrad" Crooks III, 82, of Mooresville, North Carolina, passed away on December 14, 2023. He was born on February 21, 1941, in Iredell County, NC to the late Marguerite "Peg" Goodman Crooks and Joseph "Joe" Conrad Crooks, Jr.
Conrad had a degree in Business Administration; and worked in the textile industry until his retirement. He was an aviation enthusiast and had a great passion for airplanes. He also was proud of his home which he restored in 1974. He will be missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law Mike Barrier, and Kennth E. Register, Jr.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 61 years Patricia "Pat" Miller Crooks, son; Charles Conrad Crooks of Mooresville, sister; Joanne C. Barrier of Little River, SC, sisters-in-law; Margaret Riley, Penelope Morrison and husband Brian, Pamela Fleming and Paige Rogers, brother-in-law; H.E. "Lee" Bouknight and wife Gina. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will have a private celebration of life service at a later date.
