February 23, 1954 - January 20, 2022
Kathy Dianne Hudson Huff, 67, of Valdese passed away Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022, following a period of declining health.
Kathy was born Feb. 23, 1954, in Burke County, to the late Lillie Hudson Gantt. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by brother, Ronnie Gantt; sister, Brenda Gantt; grandson, Derek Russell; and granddaughter, Zoey Hefner.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Cindy Huff Hefner and husband, Tommy, Sandy Huff, and Jeffrey Hudson; sisters, Barbara Hudson, Debbie Perry and husband, Stanley, and Lisa Webber; grandchildren, Hannah Yoder and husband, McKinley, Kelby Parker, Skylar Hudson and Brayden Hudson; great-grandchild, Waylon Yoder; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and longtime friend, Brenda Huffman.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 25, at 4 p.m., in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service, with Pastor Scott Evans officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 3 to 4 p.m., at the funeral home, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heritage Funeral Service to assist the family with funeral expenses.
