My Dearest brother Uriel, you and I were only 10 months apart, we fought, we laughed, and dreamed of what our future would be like for us, I miss not having you here to talk to. Thirty years ago have gone by and it seems like it was yesterday, not a day goes by that I do not think about you. That night when we got that called from the hospital, our lives changed forever, we miss you so much. Mommie can’t even go to the cemetery, she says it’s a wound that never heals, and a parent is not supposed to bury their child. I know that our God has a plan for each of us, and he called you to be one of his angels. 2 Corinthians 5:8 Because of this we trust and we long to depart from the body and to be with Our Lord.
Your nephew Uriel Victor will graduate next year and I tell him everything about you, how you were so handsome, caring, your beautiful blue eyes, so loved by everyone and the great Figueroa personality that you had and most of all that he shares the same birthday with you and named after you, what a blessing he is to Mommie, Papi and myself.
One day we will be together and rejoicing again in our Father’s kingdom.
I love you Mi Hermano.
Many thanks to everyone for your kind and generous words.

Can't believe it's been 30 years. Dali and the Figueroa familia, Uriel was a great young man. He touched so many lives in so many ways. May your family find comfort on this anniversary date. I will keep you in my prayers.

This may sounddtrange but I was one of the nurses who took care of Uriel the night he came into the hospital. I did not know him, but he looked like what an angel would look like. He was beautiful. I just could not believe such a gentle human being was going to go and be with God. I will never forget him, and to this day tell my friends about the man I took care of for a little while. God bless you all and be with you. Sharon Flaherty (Nevada).

Uriel thought I was special but he was the special one. He was funny, sweet and an all around nice guy. Even though it has been 30 years, I remember it like it was yesterday. And so, I pray that his family remembers the wonderful memories of Uriel to find some peace with every day that passes.

Its been 30yrs...And the sudden passing of Uriel, has never been forgotten, Uriel was like our little brother, we all grew up together,, he was loving, giving, and had such a bright future before him..( adored his family, especially his Mom Angelica and his older sister Dali, He loved school and was popular among his classmates...Ill never forget his sharp dressing, and manerisms of someone older than himself..( I continually ask God in prayer..that this loving family would have accepted this so unexplained accident. I know as hard as this is God had a better plan for him in his Kingdom...We miss you always Uriel...Que dios te bendigas..Shall we all someday meet again.. and play and laugh, as we did as children, You left everyone close to you with a everlasting impact..(Never to forget them beautiful beautiful Eyes we all envied" clearly giving everyone that met you, a clear view of that beautiful soul...You are in our hearts and mind for eternity..hermano" We miss you so much... and We could never imagine what your loss meant to your immediate Familia...Sincerely From all the Children of the Late "Ana Lydia Camacho Aviles" Amen

Uriel: fun, comic, happy-go-lucky, and full of spirit. You always made us laugh - you were like the family comic relief. I'm sure you've met with Papi who passed on 1 1/2 years ago. You are both a force full of energy ... we miss that energy, but know we'll see you again. Love Aunt, Julie

Uriel, you were such a popular guy we used to joke how you were going to become the Mayor of Lorain. Without a doubt you would have been a major force and a very successful man today. You are always in our thoughts, we miss you, and love you. Uncle Abe

It’s hard to believe that thirty years have passed by since Uriel’s untimely death. I have nothing but enjoyable memories of him and his infectious personality. He was truly a great guy (Southview Saint) that was taken way to soon. May his family find tranquility on this anniversary date of their Son, Brother and Uncle.
