I haven't seen Eddie much over the years; last time was one of our Class of '59 reunions. He was one of my best childhood friends during my years at Stanton schools. He will be missed.

I'd like to offer my condolences to the family.

Dear Family of Eddie Lee,
I sent an earlier note but I mistakenly closed it too early. So, I am inlcuding my info herein.

Eddie Lee Avery was my friend. He and his family moved across the street when we were in the 5th grade until I left the area. I have many fond memories. He got me in more trouble than I can shake a stick at. One of my greatest blessings in life was meeting with him after some years apart and learning that he had accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and become very active in his church. I gave thanks to the Lord because I had often thought about what happened to Eddie? I glad that Judith and Eddie had a wonderful life together. I'm thankful that Brad and his family have done so well. A christian wants the best for the people that care about and I cared for Eddie Lee. He was my friend and I will miss our visits. But, I believe in the Lord and I know that Eddie Lee is in a better place. But, we all will still miss him.

Dearest Avery Family,
You have been such a strong foundation for me during my trials and I sit here wondering what I could possible do make it up to you. Ed will be missed and my sympathy is very deep for you and the extended family. I really never thought this day would come, but here it is and the words and emotions truly evade me. May God hold each of you in His arms in the days ahead. I have always loved this family and to say bye for now is difficult yet knowing he is better helps. Always remeber the strength you gave me is the same (in ten fold) you will receive. In His loving care,
Joanne and family
