I was privileged to know John, and his family. All good folks, and I have good memories of my time with them and helping work cattle on his ranch with Jeff Connor.
All good wishes to his family.

I am saddened at John's passing. I don't quite remember when I first met John, but he was always quick to extend his hand and say hello. A good friend of mine, Jeff Conner, worked for John at his ranch south of Midland some years ago. He helped take care of the oil wells, cattle, sheep, and goats. I was always pleased to get a call from Jeff, at John's suggestion, to load a horse and come down to help work, or rotate cattle.
I also had the pleasure of getting to know Mary Lou, Johnny, Greg, and Clay and their families during some of these works. I thought a lot of John, he was a good man and will be missed. His family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I am saddened at John's passing. I don't quite remember when I met John, but he was always quick to extend his hand and say hello. I got to know him better when a friend of mine, Jeff Conner, worked for John at his ranch south of Midland. Jeff helped take care of the oil wells, and tend to the cattle, sheep, and goats. I was always pleased to have Jeff call and ask me to load a horse and come down to help move cattle, or brand and castrate, at John's suggestion. I got acquainted with his family too, Mary Lou, Johnny, Greg, and Clay as well as their wives and kids. John leaves a legacy that would be the envy of anyone. I am better for having known him. He was a good man, and will be missed.
