My daughter is a very good friend of Abby's. They have been friends since their days at Loyola. Angela spoke so warmly of Julia; she spoke of the very close mother-daughter relationship that Abby and Julia had. I am so sorry for the loss that Julia's children, her mom, her twin sister, her sister, her brothers, and all of her family and many friends are feeling with her passing. They now have a beautiful Angel whose spirit may be at their side always. I will pray for you to have the peace and comfort that only God can give.

God heals the brokenhearted and comforts his children. A mother cannot ever be replaced but always remember all the wonderful moments that you shared with her and carry them always in your hearts. Each time she had with you were special to her and to you. A song, a book, a poem shared by her was a special memory that she gave each of you. God Bless you all as you continue on with your wonderful hopes and dreams in this life.

I enjoyed knowing you, seeing your CareBridge posts and Facebook and visiting with you at rehab once, Julie. I loved it when you were a reader at Mass and I kept visualizing you able to walk again up to the ambo. I can feel you watching over your St Pius Community. Rest in Peace my friend.

I knew her as Julie. She was a beautiful presence at Clay Church where I have been a member for many years. She was always positive and encouraging to anyone she came in contact with. I used to love bumping into her at Martin's Supermarket when the kids were little. Somehow, she would have a cart overflowing with groceries but never lost track of her beloved children. I am very sorry for the pain you are all experiencing at this time and promise to pray for you in the days to come.
