Raymundo Villarreal Obituary

Raymundo "Ray" Villarreal, 34, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2012 in Houston. He was the son of Pablo and Maria Villarreal of Port Isabel, Texas. Raymond was a very loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle and best friend to so many. He was a great loving person who enjoyed helping others. He was a huge Hosuton Texans fan and had a passion for Ford Mustangs.

He is survived by his wife, Julie Ann Villarreal; five loving children, Monique, Raelyssa, Natalie, Ava, and Raymond Jr; his parents, Pablo and Maria Villarreal; his brothers and sisters, Pablo Villarreal Jr. of San Francisco, Jannette Villarreal from Laguna Vista, Texas, Francisco Villarreal of Austin, Texas, Carina Villarreal from Port Isabel, Pedro Luis Villarreal and Jose Antonio Villarreal both of Port Isabel; six nephews and four nieces, Nathan, Raiden, Adrian Jr., Angel Jr., Devin Dre, Edgar Jr., Tiffani, Emery, Audrey, and Melony; and his best friend, Santiago Cabrera.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 10, from 6 to 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7 p.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St. in Port Isabel.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 11, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel. Interment will follow to Port Isabel City Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Pablo Villarreal Jr., Francisco Villarreal, J. Antonio Villarreal, Pedro L. Villarreal, Adrian Nino, J. Carlos Villarreal, Francisco Salazar, and Santiago Cabrera.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Thomae-Garza Funeral Directors, 395 S. Sam Houston Blvd., San Benito, TX (956) 399-1331.
