Robert Leslie "Bob" Sebree

Robert "Bob" Leslie Sebree, 71, of Midland, went home to be with our Lord and Savior, on Friday, February 17, 2012. He was born on February 5, 1941, in Georgetown, KY. He was a wonderful man, who truly loved his family with all of his heart. He was a great provider for his family. Bob served in the United States Air Force from 1962 to May of 1967. He spent the year of 1966 in Vietnam. He worked for Permian Corporation for 31 years and then for Stewart and Stevenson for 10 years. He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Becky Sebree; two sons, Jerry Sebree and Ronnie Sebree; one daughter, Beth Sebree and life partner Debra Ake, all of Midland, TX. Bob had 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, Christine Guffey of Frankfort, KY, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. The family will have visitation tonight from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 22 at 1:00 p.m., at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, at 1701 N. Main, Midland, TX, with Pastor Gilbert Bela officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mark's United Methodist Church, or to a charity of your choice.
