Tamika Denise McAfee, age 42, of Midland, TX was called home March 6, 2021. Born May 9th, 1978 in Midland, TX, the daughter of the late Dillian McAfee. Tamika was a graduate of Coleman High School. After graduation she worked with the Midland ISD Transportation and for the last 9 years she has been employed with the City of Midland Sanitation Department. Tamika was described as "small but a giant" - her lively spirit could light up a room. She was dependable and devoted and would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. She leaves to cherish her memory; sons, Davorik Cook, James McAfee, daughter, Davoria McAfee, cousins; Robert McAfee, Yvonne Vinson, Jason McAfee, Latricia McAfee, Tacallo McAfee, Daniel W. McAfee, Shamika Williams, Jermine Bryant, James Bryant, Amber McAfee, David Shaw, Jamyra McAfee, Daniel J. McAfee. She is preceded in death by her mother, Dillian McAfee, grandparents, James H. McAfee and Lillian McAfee, aunts, Belinda Shaw, Deborah McAfee Bryant, and one cousin, Timothy Bryant. Family will receive friends Tuesday March 16, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Avalos-Sanchez and Thomas Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be Wednesday March 17, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Avalos-Sanchez and Thomas Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dennis Hodge presiding. Interment will immediately follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nakomas Sauls, Marcus Strambler Jr., Dai'Treyounce McAfee, Conor Aaron, Abraham Brien, Ja'Quadrick Anderson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert McAfee, Bobby McAfee, Daniel W. McAfee, Albert W. McAfee, James L. McAfee, Tacallo McAfee, Randy E. Green, David Shaw, Daniel J. McAfee, Gregory Watson.
