Jack changed hundreds of student lives in his career as a automotive teacher at Renton Technical College. He was the go to in the local community for help with automotive repairs, with he and his students serving mostly those who were impoverished and couldn't afford a for profit repair shop.
Although he lived in Kirkland, his heart was always back in his hometown of Anaconda. On a road trip back to Minnesota with my son to visit family, he told me to swing by if i had the time and see where he grew up. We drove to Georgetown Lake, filled milk jugs from Spring Hill, and had the best pork chop sandwich at Peppermint Patties just like he had told me. The views were amazing...the water was sweet and cold, and the people were friendly and welcoming.
Gods speed to my long time friend..we shared many a laugh and cry together....you are home my friend.
