Patricia Irene (Warner) Sholey

July 5, 1936 - November 30, 2023

Patricia Irene Sholey, life-long resident of Butte, MT, passed away November30, 2023. She was born July 5, 1936 to Ted and Irene Warner, She attended Elementary School and with hard work earned her GED.

Pat married Bert Sholey and they welcomed six beautiful children, Bert, Rick, Mark, Susan, Scott and Steve.

She spent her early years raising her children and being a huge influence on their Ramsay School years by being involved with the PTA, chaperoning school dances and attending all of their athletic and scholastic events. In 1970 Pat and Bert purchased the CourtHouse Grocery in uptown Butte, she became a big part of the small town family grocery store's success. Later in life Pat and Bert divorced and she tried her hand at several new ventures including a Life Insurance Agent, Laundry Attendant for Copper Ridge Health and Rehab, and finally as an attendant for Lenny's Casino.

Pat loved playing cards with her many card buddies, but her greatest joy was family game nights where Hand & Foot or Shanghai were always on tap while listening to "Tie a Yellow Ribbon" on the old stereo. Her grandchildren loved stopping by her home to conversate and soak up her wisdom on life, and to raid the infamous Candy Cupboard.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Susan (Ken) Beck, sons and daughter-in-laws Bert (Dolores) Sholey, Rick (Sherry) Sholey, Scott (Lori) Sholey and Steve (Pam) Sholey; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; "daughter-in-law" Bonnie Sholey and close friend Sheila Mayes.

She was preceded in death by her son Mark, grandsons Rick and Bert, parents Ted and Irene and brothers Ron and Bob Warner

Pat's loving, warm and kind spirit where family always comes first will be forever missed.

Sholey family, I am sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I know what a great lady she was. I often ran into her at Walmart before her Copper-ridge days. She was a strong lady and what a beautiful young lady. We will always remember her and the sad connection with our family and my nephew Tony. Our thoughts and prayers will always be with all of your family.

RPI Pat and give my sister (Sis) a hug and Tony too please.
