Adele Abramowitz Obituary
AGE: 88 • Toms River
Adele Abramowitz, age 88, of Toms River, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at St. Luke's Medical Center, Bethlehem, PA. Adele was born in Paterson, raised in Passaic, and resided in Fairlawn before moving to Toms River, NJ in 1961. She was a member of the Toms River Senior Center and a past member and employee of Temple Beth Shalom, Toms River, where she taught Hebrew studies for 18 years.
Adele was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Ceilia Feinberg; and her beloved husband of 56 years, Albert, in 2003. She is survived by her son, Gary Abramowitz and his wife, Andrea, of Bethlehem, PA; her daughter, Beth Stein and her husband, Jeff Rappaport of Montville, NJ; her daughter, Amy Abramowitz and Bernie Seyfert of Bayville, NJ; five grandchildren, Adam, Shana, Jason, Gabriel, and Rachel; and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 12:00pm at Toms River Jewish Community Cemetery, Toms River, NJ. Memorial contributions to the New Jersey Library of the Blind or a charity of choice in Adele's memory will be appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Belkoff-Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Lakewood, NJ.

To my "Auntie Dell", I'm sorry I never got around to visiting you the past few years. Please forgive me. You deserved much better from me. Please know I loved you and "Uncle Babe" as if you were my own flesh and blood (actually, you made me feel loved like one of YOUR OWN ... I was your "Yussel"). I will keep you both in my heart. I will never, ever forget your heartfelt kindness and what VERY SPECIAL friends you were to my parents, Mary and John Galanti. I will miss you very, very much... and thanks, again, for being so SPECIAL.
