Andy was my neighbor and friend for over 75 years. We first met when we were kids in 1945. Along with Scott Peters we were inseparable. We traveled to Florida during our bachelor years and enjoyed the good life. Andy and I were in the Army together and we attended his wedding to Grace. Andy was always a gentleman and highly respected in all aspects of his life. He was a real family man and a pleasure to all who knew him. To all his family members we mourn his loss and have the comfort of knowing that he is at peace. Rest in Peace my good friend.

Andy and I were both members of the APHS Class of 1955. I was the manager of the state championship football team, and he was one of their greatest players. He was one of the kindest human beings I have ever met. My sincere condolences to the Garrity family.

My condolences and sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Andy Garrity- Knew Andy as a friend and neighbor in the manor in Oakhurst. He was always a gentleman . Folks in the hood talked about him for years regarding his football playing ability and the 53 state championship. Went to APHS with his sisters Sandy and Anita . What a great time to be a young twirp growng up in the 1950s. Will say a prayer for the family on Andy' passing. Respectfully, Robert
