Carl W. Orcutt Jr.

AGE: 86 • Brick

Carl W. Orcutt Jr., age 86, of Brick, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in Elizabeth, he lived in Old Bridge prior to moving to Brick in 1971. He worked as a vehicle maintenance mechanic at McGuire Air Force Base in Wrightstown before retiring in 1994. Carl was a member of the National Guard from the age of 15 through 60. Tech Sgt. Orcutt was very patriotic and extremely proud of his service in the United States Army/Air National Guard. Carl enjoyed model trains and loved to listen to music. He was a parishioner of St. Dominic's RC Church in Brick. Carl was predeceased by his wife Marylin in 1991 and his granddaughter Marylin Riavez. He is survived by 1 son Jeffrey Orcutt and his wife Milly of Charlestown, IN; 4 daughters, Deborah Riavez, Margaret Nikodem and her husband Carl, Robbin Lobue and Michelle Orcutt; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Visiting hours are Thursday, June 15, 2017, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88, Brick. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am at St. Dominic's Church, Brick, followed by interment at Oaklawn Cemetery, Deans (South Brunswick Twp), NJ.
