CHAD BUTLER
AGE: 39 SOMERSET
Chad Butler, 39, died Sunday, June 27, 2010, in Newark. Born in Newark, he lived in New Brunswick before moving to Somerset. He was a boxer and trainer.
Surviving are his wife, Vanessa Butler; his children, Chad Jr., Tereak, and Chasity, all of New Brunswick, Taressa Warren of New Brunswick; his mother, Etta Mae Nixon of Somerset; his father, Lewis H. Butler Jr. of New Brunswick; eight siblings, Lewis E. (Tammy) of North Brunswick, Debbie and Tina Butler of Somerset, Theresa Baity (Clyde) of New Brunswick, Maureen Williams of Edgewood, Md., Troy Schenck (Shavona) of Somerset, Hope Schenck and Shammara S. Scott of New Brunswick. He raised his niece and nephew like his own, Karnisha and Ronald Butler.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 7 at First Baptist Church, 771 Somerset St., Somerset. Arrangements are by Anderson Funeral Service, New Brunswick.
