David Yednak Obituary

DAVID P. YEDNAK
AGE: 54 WATERFORD, MICH.
David P. Yednak, 54, died Thursday (Aug. 28, 2008).
Born May 22, 1954, in Plainfield, he went through the South Plainfield School system and was a graduate of the class of 1972.
Before moving to Waterford to work for General Motors Pontiac Truck Plant, Dave started working for GM in 1979 at the Linden Assembly Plant.
Dave was a very proud and devoted father and loved fishing and NASCAR especially Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and Jr..
He was a life-time member of the Polish National Home, and a life member of the Harley Owners Group, the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Dave is predeceased by his parents Peter and Dorothy (Bonow) Yednak.
Surviving are his son, James L. at home; a brother, James P. of South Plainfield and a sister, Janet of Phoenix Ariz..
A memorial gathering will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8, in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave, South Plainfield (www.mccriskinfuneralhome.com).
Interment services of his cremated remains will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, at the family plot in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.
