AGE: 55 • Parlin

Gary J. Morton, age 55, of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. Born in Irvington he was a lifelong resident of Sayreville. Before his retirement 5 years ago he was employed as an auto body mechanic for Pro -Craft Auto Body in Oceanport and Schweitzer's Paper Mill. Gary was currently attending Middlesex County College working towards his Associates Degree, he was a member of The Billy Boys Bandz and was both very involved and inspired by MAVIS.

He is predeceased by his father Edward H. Morton. Surviving are his wife Muriel Emmons-Morton, his children Dean and Danielle Morton, his step-children Andrea and her husband Jason, Richard, Jessica and her husband Michael, his grandchildren Kaityn, Rachel and Jason Jr, his mother Rosemary Morton and his brothers Victor, Scott and Glenn Morton.

A private cremation was held. Friends and family may visit for a memorial service on Monday, December 15, 2014 from 5pm to 8pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin. Letters of condolence, directions and completed arrangements may be found at www.spezzifuneralhome.com

Very sorry to hear of Gary's passing..I worked with him years ago at Rural Body Works,King Cars and Morgan Frame.He was a Talented bodyman,the likes of which are hard to find these days..And a good guy also. RIP Gary
