I met Jason when he was our neighbor. Matt and I loved to hang out with Jason and Annette. My favorite memory is the night that Tyler was born. They brought their dog Jax over for us to watch and then we were able to celebrate Tyler! Tyler was the ring bearer in our wedding at just over one-year-old. I miss Jason's calm demeanor and the great times that we had as neighbors.

I was upset, shocked, and extremely saddened to read the news about the loss of Dr. J. I was Dr. Jay's patient for one year. He helped me tremendously. It is with my sincere sympathy that I write these words to you. May he rest in peace.

What a sad loss to lose Dr. J. so young in life. Dr. J. always had a smile and kind word. He connected with so many of us, his patients, and his kindness was evident. I, for one, among many, will miss him everytime I step foot into my chiropractor's office. There is a "missed" presence. God Bless you Dr. Jay!

It's hard to believe it's been two weeks since Dr. J left this world. He may be gone, but he will never be forgotten! Every day I go to work wishing he was still there. I am so lucky that I got the chance to know him and learn as much as I did in the 6 months I have been at UCCM. I felt like I've known him my whole life. He was an excellent doctor, friend, and mentor. Dr. J is someone that has truly touched and shaped myself, my husband's and our 3 year old daughter's lives forever. She would always ask "who's gonna do our adjustments today, Dr. J?" And later I would ask her if she got a good one and she'd always say yes. He was so good with all the kids in the office. His zest for life and amazing energy is something I miss most around the office. Thank you for all the great adjustments and life lessons you shared with me and my family. I will always remember Dr. J for the awesome person he was :)

I just saw Dr Larry for my appt and was telling him how good it was to see Dr J 2 weeks ago..then he told me...I am shocked and very deeply saddened. Dr J was the man! He was the one who convinced me to start going to their practice. He was always smiling. He was caring and a pleasure to talk with. He was helping me in his own way to quit smoking, to have less stress and to become well. He gave me tips on how he became well thru all the things that he endured in life...he shared many stories with me from his life,
of his son and the funny things he said and the things they did together with great excitement and love. I will miss him dearly...My sympathies go out to his family, his son, his friends and coworkers. It just won't be the same without him. Words can't express the feelings I'm having at this moment. Rest in peace Dr J and know that the work you've done on this earth, the people you've touched and the man you were are priceless.

I found out this morning when I went for my chiropractic visit of the passing of Dr. Jay. I was one of his many patients and was always greeted by a warm handshake and a smile. I will always remember his signature line, "I'm going to give you an excellent adjustment." He was genuine and will be missed. May you know no more sorrow.

Dr.J was one of the few who brought me relief after 20 years of trigeminal neuralgia. After two brain surgeries and a gamma knife procedures, his warm hands and gentle adjustments became a beacon for my well-being. I cut my medications by 1/3 after beginning to work with him. He spoke so lovingly of Tyler and his dog. He was full of love and positive energy. Dr. J. it is your turn for a great adjustment. I will miss you. Godspeed.

I just don't understand how this can happen. Our parents were the best friends for years and I can't remember a New Year's Eve between the ages of 10 and 16 that we weren't all together. I hate that Jason and I drifted apart and I hate even more that I missed my chance to reconnect with him.

Dr. Jay was an amazing doctor and person; very warm, down-to-earth, and kind. He took very good care of my father and was extremely helpful to me. His charisma and positivity inspired me as a fellow DC. I didn't know him for long yet during the time that I did spend in his presence his character spoke volumes. He will be missed!

It is my prayer that YOU: his family, friends & patients receive peace, salvation, and healing through this devastating experience. Only the Lord Jesus can bring beauty out of ashes.

My condolences.

Through my sister Meg, we got to know Jason and Tyler, and they became a part of our family. It didn't take long for us to fall madly in love with them. As Jon Vawter wrote, this does not make sense. Jason did always brighten up a room. His smile was beautiful and will never be forgotten. It was very easy to understand why my sister loved Jason. He will always be in our hearts, and in his honor we will treasure Tyler and take care of him the way Jason would have wanted. For the Weniger family, there simply are no words to express how deeply sorry we are for your loss. Our hearts are with you, our prayers are with you, and our love is with you.

This does not make sense.
He took good care of himself.
He added integrity, and decency to our world.
Jason is a good friend, though we had been acquainted for just four years.
He always brightens up a room,
and makes your soul is richer for knowing him.
When asked for a memory to share with his parents,
my 10 year old Christy said:
"He is really nice".
That is pretty cool. and something everyone else
who knew him will remember as long as they live.
"He is really nice."
We say "is" because Jason is alive,
and now eternally in the presence of Whom he trusted.
It's a bad time only for us.
Jay accomplished a lot in just 34 years,
now his legacy lives on in Tyler.

Fridays were always special..Dr. J ran our morning huddle. Down to business and then, as always, he brought a bit of himself to the day. There was always a special story, note, picture...he always brought "the girls" to tears either laughing or touched to the heart. Sharing himself to patients and coworkers was his gift. You were loved, respected and a joy to work with!

Words can not express how sad I am to have lost such a great friend. Over the past 18 years, Jay and I have been through just about everything together- holidays, marriages, births, moves and divorce. I never thought I would be looking for the right words to celebrate his life after finding out about his death.

Jay touched the heart of anyone he met. He always had a smile on his face and was willing to help you if you needed it. His love for Tyler was unmeasurable. His life was taken too soon.

Jay, may you rest in peace. You will forever be in our hearts and never forgotten.
